For over 33 years, SunGate Window Films has been a trusted, family-owned provider of premium window film solutions across Greater Atlanta. What began as a small business has grown into a respected name known for exceptional quality, honest service, and outstanding craftsmanship.

My name is Joe Anderson, and together with my son Evan, we personally handle every single installation. We never subcontract our work — because we believe your home or business deserves the highest level of care and attention to detail. From the initial consultation to the final inspection, we are fully involved in every project.

How It All Started

Our journey into window tinting started in an unexpected place. I was once a young musician playing bass guitar in a rock-n-roll band, chasing dreams on stage. When a close friend and bandmate who owned an auto tinting company offered me a job, I had no idea it would change my life.

Just two years later, I found myself installing window film on one of the largest architectural projects in the Southeast — the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, right before the 1996 Olympics.

That early experience ignited a deep passion in me. I quickly discovered that window tinting is far more than a skill — it's a true craft. Every installation feels like a unique art project. Whether we're working on towering skyscrapers in downtown Atlanta or a small family-owned business in Ellijay, we take genuine pride and joy in transforming spaces with beautiful, high-performance window films.

Today, with over 33 years of specialized experience in architectural window film sales, service, and installation, we deliver state-of-the-art solutions that improve comfort, dramatically reduce energy costs, protect interiors from harmful UV rays, and help prevent fading of furniture, flooring, and artwork.

A Personal Note from Joe

On a personal note, I am a proud single father of four wonderful children — two daughters and two sons. Even after all these years, I still make time to play bass guitar in my rock-n-roll band whenever I can.
