Sunroom Window Tinting — Soleil Belmont Park, Canton GA

Sunrooms are one of the most rewarding spaces in a home — and one of the most challenging to keep comfortable. When the afternoon sun hits single-pane glass at the right angle, the room can go from relaxing to unbearable in minutes.

That's exactly what was happening at this Soleil Belmont Park home in Canton.

The homeowner reached out because her sunroom had become unusable in the afternoons. During our site visit, the issue was immediately clear: the single-pane glass was acting like a magnifying glass, concentrating the afternoon sun's heat and glare into the space. The beautiful knotty pine ceiling and stone fireplace — a stunning room by any measure — were being cooked by direct solar exposure every day.

She had two clear priorities:

• Strong glare reduction — the afternoon sun was blinding
• Maximum heat rejection — the room was simply too hot to use
• Budget-conscious — she wanted real performance without overpaying

After assessing the glass and the sun exposure, we recommended Madico Optivision 25 — a high-value dual-layer film that punches well above its price point.

Here's what Optivision 25 delivers:

• 70% glare reduction — dramatic improvement in afternoon comfort
• 70% heat rejection — cuts solar heat gain in half and then some
• 99% UV blockage — protects furnishings, flooring, and fabrics from fading
• Economical price point — premium performance without the premium price tag

For a single-pane sunroom with a budget-conscious homeowner, Optivision 25 is one of our go-to recommendations. It's a dual-layer construction that gives you real solar control at a price that makes sense for the project.

Evan handled the installation — working through the floor-to-ceiling glass panels that make up the sunroom's back wall. The scale of the glass is significant, and the knotty pine ceiling and stone fireplace meant careful setup to protect the interior finishes.

The film went on clean, and the transformation was immediate. The sunroom that had been a heat trap was now a comfortable, usable space.

Single-pane glass offers almost no insulation value on its own. It transmits heat and UV radiation with very little resistance — which is why single-pane sunrooms, older homes, and garage conversions often feel the effects of the Georgia sun so acutely.

Window film is one of the most cost-effective upgrades for single-pane glass. You get a significant improvement in solar performance without replacing the glass — and with a film like Optivision 25, you get that improvement at a price that makes the project easy to justify.
