Work-From-Home Window Tinting — The Woodlands, Woodstock GA
A Woodstock homeowner couldn't work at their desk between 10am and 1pm because of intense sun. We installed Prolayers Soft Tone 24 on the back of the house — and the results were so good they had us tint the entire back.

Film: Prolayers Soft Tone 24 Location: The Woodlands, Woodstock, GA Date: October 2, 2026
The Problem
The homeowner works from home and found it nearly impossible to sit at their desk between 10am and 1pm. The back of the house faces direct sun during those hours, and the heat and glare coming through the untreated windows made focused work uncomfortable — and sometimes impossible. They regularly had to take phone calls in another room just to get away from the intensity.
What We Installed
We installed Prolayers Soft Tone 24 on the back of the home. Soft Tone 24 is a high-performance solar control film that delivers strong heat rejection and meaningful glare reduction while maintaining a natural, comfortable light quality. It is an ideal choice for home offices and living spaces where you want the sun's benefits without the downsides.
The Result
The difference was immediate. The homeowner can now sit at their desk any time of day without dealing with heat or glare. The workspace is cooler, more comfortable, and fully functional throughout the afternoon.
The results were so good that the customer decided to have us tint the entire back of the house — not just the home office windows.
Here is what they shared:
"Before Joe and Evan installed the window tint, the sun made it nearly impossible to work at my desk — it was just too intense. I regularly had to take phone calls in another room. Now I can sit at my desk any time of day without dealing with the heat or glare. I was so happy with the results that I had them tint the whole back of the house. They do clean work, showed up on time, and made the process easy. If you need window tinting, give Sungate a call!"
